US – Georgia’s Largest Healthcare System Will Fire Employees Who Refuse Flu Vaccine
Employees of Georgia’s largest healthcare system have until Nov. 1 to get the flu vaccine or an approved exemption, or they will be suspended without pay. If suspended employees don’t submit proof of vaccination by 4 p.m. Nov. 15, they will be fired. According to the Emory Healthcare website, the mandate applies to all employees, including contractors and remote workers.
