Flávio Bolsonaro won the first round of Brazil’s presidential election, but fell short of the 50% needed to win outright, so a runoff is set for Sunday, October 25, 2026. With 98.81% of votes counted, Bolsonaro had 47.24% and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva had 44.91%
