The headline/story may have little to do with reality. A detailed AI review (Co-pilot) indicates that the Lithuanian government has been working for ~a year to expropriate privately owned land from citizens to create a new 85,000 acre military base on the border with Belarus. Citizens have been fighting this expropriation in the courts as generational land ownership is confiscated and destoyed. Both international news as well as local Lithuanian sources were used in this analysis. The value of the above article is that it “may” be indicating that this new military base is for the USA and not Lithuania itself (unclear) – however – it should be assumed that (if confirmed) Belarus will not be pleased to find a new MASSIVE US military base on it’s border (expansion of NATO etc etc etc).
