Could be that his Globalist Masters have given him marching orders. CCP does not want the US and Canada to have any meaningful trade. They want us to lose our middle class. Dependancy on Government.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that NAFTA and CUSMA was not a great deal for the US.
It allowed cheap products to come into the US to lower costs to consumers but hollowed out the well paid US manufacturing jobs.
Many of those products were from US owned subsidiaries. The rich got richer and the middle class and the poor got poorer.

Cultural Marxism is a slow process. Carney is almost there.
Other than energy, fertilizer and a few other commodities, the US really does not need us.
If I was the US I would covet Canada’s water. That is something they will need.
All the money sent to Ukraine, third world countries for Gender studies, etc is meant to divide us and bankrupt the country.
For that I give Carney an A++.
In the US the deficit may be growing but the Trump administration is spending money now for eliminating fraud, re-shoring and other programs that may lower operating costs in the future. Good spending compared to Carney who is giving away our treasury with no measurable benefit to the country.
The Iran War may increase the deficit this year and could be what turns the independents against him. “No more wars!” was promised.
I’m not saying it was’t necessary but he could have rallied more countries behind the effort before it started. An overwhelming military response and shared monitoring of the Strait may have had a different outcome.
Interesting times are about to hit if Famine is the future for some third world countries. I hope this wasn’t part of the Globalist plan unwittingly delivered by Trump.
On another note.
We were looking to upgrade to a two bed apt in Vancouver. I’ll be spending more time here the next year.
GMG wanted new construction so she contacted the same developer who we rent from who has quite a few similar new buildings coming online now. Went through two of the buildings offerings. Of course we were given the sales pitch pressure that we needed to decide that day which unit we wanted as they would all be gone in a few days (limited supply left). Strangely, one of them was offering free underground parking for 6 months and first month free as we were coming from another building. We are not the type to jump on something when this is the case. That was two weeks ago. GMG received an email that xx number are still available. WTF
On my daily bike rides around the Lower Mainland with my clueless liberal friend we have noticed a growing number of similar “rental” buildings coming online this year or next. I believe they are not going to be priced right to attract residents. Many of the migrant families cram multiple families in rental units to afford the cost. It takes 2-3 wages to afford most on the larger rentals. Couples in my present building struggle to save anything. Many have left the city even though it seems more crowded. The city is increasing the density where a 6 unit development can be built on the typical 33ft front Single Family Vancouver lot after the teardown.
