According to Russian officials and major financial institutions, the country faces an immediate labor shortage of at least 2.3 million workers. Construction alone is projected to require nearly 789,000 additional workers by 2030. Other estimates suggest Russia needs roughly 800,000 workers in manufacturing and another 1.5 million workers in construction and services. These are not small numbers.
