WTI Holds Rebound Gains As US Fuel Exports Hit Record High, Production Dips, Huge SPR Drain
Perhaps most notably, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is seeing massive drawdowns to support the global loss of supply from Hormuz.
Bloomberg’s energy guru, Javier Blas, dropped this stunning chart showing that, on a 7-day moving average, global oil liftings (into tankers) have recovered to their pre-war level due to a surge in liftings in the Americas. Of course, that’s helped by massive stock drawdowns / SPR drain, but still…
K2 PLEASE USE AI TO ASSESS THESE REPORTS BEFORE POSTING…IT TAKES A MINUTE…WE HAVE A SLEW OF BULLSHIT REPORTS HERE LATELY
ZERO HEDGE IS BORDERING ON ZERO CREDIBILITY IMO

SO HUGE SPR DRAWDOWN IS BULLSHIT
The source is BLOOMBERG – NOT Zerohedge.
BLOOMBERG gets paid big $$$$ by clients to do this detailed level of financial analysis — I defer to their proven expertise.
Zerohedge aggregates news flow of interest — similar to what we are doing at the TENT
I won’t be cross checking BLOOMBERG’s calculations (way above my expertise level)
However, I totally agree that ALL tenters should use common sense when they read these posts — remember that WE DON”T WRITE THEM — nor do we guarantee that what they say is true or accurate — they are posted to assist TENTERS awareness of what IS being said – when – and by whom.
If anyone senses that something is wrong — post your comments in the comment section so that everyone is aware — use AI if you want to or your own personal knowledge. The objective is to work as a team to stay on top of the news.
This should make us all better investors and citizens!
IT’S THE FANTISCIZING IN THE HEADLINES THAT I TAKE ISSUE WITH…..THATS THE RED FLAG
HUGE SPR DRAIN ! THATS ZERO HEDGE LOOKING FOR EYEBALLS AND WE HAVE ASSISTED THEM
THATS BLOOMBERG BEING POLITICAL…TRUNP IS DESTROYING THE SPR IN ORDER TO KEEP HIS WAR GOING
Again — my response is consistent — WE neither write the articles NOR the headlines for the articles.
We encourage everyone at the tent to use common sense and do their own due diligence.
Whenever anyone senses something is inaccurate, they should make their point in the comment section. Everyone’s contribution is valued and encouraged. Posting comments on the original authors work helps us all understand.
But do remember that WE DON’T WRITE THEM — nor do we guarantee that what they say is true or accurate — they are posted to assist TENTERS awareness of what IS being said – when – and by whom.
K2 Your point is well taken but my point is….many readers just read the headines…few have the inkling or time to read all or even some articles
When headlines are fantastical …like this one regarding Draining the SPR ….then that is what a cursory reader will just accept the headline
My point is we should try to limit articles like that that are clearly overstating an important Policy
We have more than enough material . I disagree that tenters need to be appraised of everything that is being said…especially from MSM outlets
I prefer to focus on Trusted Alt News Reports
Yes — It IS your opinion that the headline is fantastical — and your commentary properly provided your reasoning why you thought that way.
Other TENTERS now have the opportunity to agree or disagree with your assessment.
But it would be irresponsible TO MODIFY SOMEONE ELSES HEADLINE OR ARTICLE CONTENT. (Interesting to note that the headline came directly from the article — about 1/2 way down).
I already SELF-REGULATE what and how much I post (which BTW is just a FRACTION of the articles that I review on a daily basis). It is the fraction that I think other tenters would want to know about.
In this specific article — is it possible that a 5% drawdown of the SPR is considered to be a massive drawdown?? Maybe or maybe not.
Well I don’t know the answer because I DON’T WORK IN THE OIL INDUSTRY! While I can have my own unique opinion, I would suggest that neither have the specific expertise to impose our opinions upon others. Hence my constant request for readers to participate and provide their thoughts, comments and feedback.
I think it’s wonderful that you prefer Alt News and use AI tools — I personally want to know what is being said by multiple relevant news sources. If and when I do find a topic that seems sketchy (but still seems important), I try to highlight same – up front – at the time of posting.
Different strokes for different folks — our styles have resulted in the TENT becoming an incredibly detailed database that provides a steady flow of information!
