If Iran continues to mine the straights, you just threaten to incapacitate the oil island, and all their revenues disappear. US doesn’t use oil from mid-east, so once again it goes back to Europe and Asian nations. Put pressure on Iran to stop fucking around, or both Iran and oil importers will suffer bigly.
