61% See Iran War as Successful So Far
The ongoing U.S. war against Iran is viewed as a success by most voters
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 61% of Likely U.S. Voters say that, based on what they know, the military operation against Iran has been successful so far, 29% don’t consider the Iran war successful so far. 11% are not sure
81% of Republicans, 45% of Democrats and 56% of unaffiliated voters say the military operation against Iran so far has been at least somewhat successful.
Majorities of every racial category – 62% of whites, 53% of black voters, 59% of Hispanics and 62% of other minorities – think the military operation against Iran so far has been at least somewhat successful
Among those who voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, 83% believe the military operation against Iran has been successful so far, but only 40% of Kamala Harris voters share that belief.

The U.S. and Israel jointly launched attacks against Iran on February 28.
44% of voters believe the U.S. military alliance with Israel is good for America, but 36% say it’s not good for America, and 20% are not sure.
70% of Republicans, 26% of Democrats and 38% of unaffiliated voters believe the U.S. military alliance with Israel is good for America.

Just 9% think Iran is America’s biggest enemy. 25% consider China the biggest enemy and 16% view Russia as the biggest enemy.
Others are more concerned about domestic enemies – 16% say Republican voters are America’s biggest enemy and 13% believe Democratic voters are the biggest enemy.
Twenty-four percent (24%) of both Republicans and Democrats view the other party’s voters as America’s biggest enemy. Voters unaffiliated with either major party are more likely to consider the biggest enemy to be Republican voters (17%) than Democratic voters (10%).
