Any form of transition will be symbolic. We are moving to annex #Canada and #Greenland. Against that backdrop, adding #Mexico, #Colombia, and #Venezuela is not radical—it is logical escalation. An American Empire is taking shape in real time, and we are witnessing its birth.
These states cannot exist as truly sovereign entities without eventually being captured, coerced, or stripped by external powers. Independence without power is an illusion. Incorporated into a new American Commonwealth, however, they would not only achieve stability and prosperity, but would directly reinforce the national security architecture of the Empire itself.
Control of Mexico, Venezuela, and Colombia is not optional—it is imperative. Failure to act guarantees that China will step in, extracting oil, gold, and silver while converting these regions into economic dependencies and strategic liabilities. Ownership denies rivals access, secures resources, and hardens the Empire’s southern and hemispheric defenses.
This is not ideology. It is force projection, resource denial, and strategic consolidation. #MAGA

The UK has long supported a transition of power in Venezuela. We regarded Maduro as an illegitimate President and we shed no tears about the end of his regime.
I reiterated my support for international law this morning. The UK government will discuss the evolving situation with US counterparts in the days ahead as we seek a safe and peaceful transition to a legitimate government that reflects the will of the Venezuelan people.

As for #ANNEXATION, what does that mean exactly?
When I first read this a few hours ago, I sensed a Americas Confederation.
Like the British Commonwealth perhaps. (without the common language yet … we’re getting there in Spanish)
But I don’t see how Sovereignty is compatible with Trump’s concerns (national security).
More of a Colonial relationship would seem to be implied. Like the American Colonies to 1700 England.
I would certainly welcome a new parallel ‘Schengen’ arrangement (complete with passenger rail networks !!!)
But I doubt that fits anyone’s priorities here.
