Took me a while to get through his latest on the “50yr mortgage” and “considering his ex-libertarians as the new-right Tucker supporters”.

But I finally got through it and with the news stories flying so fast/frequent, thought I’d respond with a current post. See comments.
Yes, I’ll vote in the mid-terms for The Party (to avoid handicapping Trump’s agenda) but as with ANYONE I support – it will not be an all-in endorsement, leaving my common sense at the door.

Luongo spends 20 seconds at the beginning saying this isn’t what I (he) believes, just speculating here (to paraphrase).
Then spends 30 minutes arguing that evidence points to the following.
1) To be anti bitcoin when the Trump Admin is pushing it as a strategic asset, indicates one is in league with the City of London – HOGWASH, I’m not wearing that badge. Bitcoin and it’s adherants are TOOLS IMO – yes, I don’t agree with everything DJT’s admin is doing and I’m not going to support team RED based in any part on adoption of BTC as a REAL asset. Supporting Trump is a package deal – he’s the President, I’m not – so I’m in support on MOST things.
2) Tucker is platforming anti-MAGA persons such as bitcoin skeptics and Fuentes, ie, (my take) he needs to shed his journalist cloak (of independance) and come work for us – yea I’m no buying it – he’s an independant – those don’t go off on tangents like being attacked by a demon or ET’s because they are anyone’s puppet. Nobody has to believe him – he’s just another Talking Head whose influence is to me anyway, seemingly not for sale and not to be cowed into submission.
3) Luongo believes the kill-the-fillibuster effort is like a light switch turn it off when it suits you, turn if on when you’ve done the deed. Frankly I don’t trust the senate/house majorities to do the right thing while the switch is OFF. Also keep in mind what happens when anything the gov’t does is TEMPORARY, even when your party is in power (Nixon?). One thing for CERTAIN, the stakes of such a move are even higher if the Dems/Socialists get into power.
4) ‘Maybe Tucker is an agent of London’ – give me a FKING BREAK. If Luongo is just spitballing here – he’s losing some credibility with me esp. because during his entire diatribe – he offers no ‘rebuttles’ of his own to these ‘ideas’ (see first 20 seconds comment).
5) The 50 yr note, he makes an argument about how it will free up cash flow, then dismisses out of hand why-not-70 or 100 yr note (which would free up even more cash flow right?? /sarc). Think about it – your working years may last 30-40 years typically – WHO THE FK is going to be able to retire when they still have 10-20 years left on their mortgage – not to mention during 50 yrs what are the odds the market or personal events (divorce/health/loss of wealth) may KICK YOU OUT of the mortgage (foreclosure or sale) and you STILL NEED A PLACE TO LIVE. IMO a 50 yr mortgage is a guaranteed path to YOU WILL OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY.
Buying into the entire agenda, lock stock and barrel, without critique or pushback ..
means you LOSE ALL CREDIBILITY when the next debate rolls into town.
When the elections arrive, the choices are essentially binary. (Twice so if you consider sitting it out)
Meanwhile, reason has to be exercised as if ON A CONTINUUM.
Not at one POLE or the OTHER.
REASON SCHMEASON…WHAT THE MIDTERMS COME TO…IT’S COMMUNISM OR TRUMPISM…PICK ONE
Just because Trump is in the WH you didn’t think the corruption would end, did you???
