Quiet authoritarianism is here and about to ruin everything that’s left.

The most dangerous censorship doesn’t arrive wearing jackboots, although the RCMP tried that during the trucker protest making reference to “stomping their jackboots” in a group chat, ironically. Bill C-9 comes covered in compassion, promising safety, inclusion, and protection. It speaks softly about “hate,” then quietly builds a legal system that criminalizes emotion, thought, tone and the most terrifying part is the reality that there is no accountability or recourse for the person accused. Britain went down that road years ago. Before I move on, do you notice the language used in these bills and the similarities to other sweeping dangerous ideologies? Ill give you a hint…. MAID.

Now, Canada is setting foot on the same path under Bill C-9 and pretending it’s progress, it’s never been and will never be progress to jail those for having an opinion regardless of what the daft liberal party thinks.

Britain’s story is a mirror. Canada’s reflection is forming. The only question is whether we’ll recognize it in time, and unfortunately from what I can see from within the walls of this country… it’s not looking good.
