   On a similar note, Dr Bitchface here in BC has instituted the vax passport for all indoor venues in BC. I am forbidden from accessing swimming, which pisses me off royally, but what this stupid idiot of a health minister has failed to understand is that she is not only screwing people like me, she is also screwing small business owners.
   Case in point: the ski resort where I live. The restaurants in the village were not consulted about this, and it’s doubtful they want to enforce it. They are already reeling from being abruptly shut down mid-March of 2020, thereby missing revenue from the March Break crowds, and with the severe restrictions on numbers this past ski season they suffered even more.
   Now this moronic bitch has made it so that they cannot serve anyone who didn’t go along with her satanic agenda. Received an e-mail from neighbour down the street this morning. He and his extended family routinely spend about $2000 per season at the local restaurants. Not this season. They refused the shots so that’s $2000 that the local restaurants will not receive. Another man who skis here chimed into the conversation. He comes here for 4 weeks every season and eats out a lot. Not this season. That’s more money lost for the restaurants.
   Am sure there are countless examples of people who would normally patronize our restaurants who are now forbidden to do so. I hope they rise up and protest this tyrannical destruction of their livelihoods.

     Destroying small business seems to be their goal, without expressly saying it.
     Its the source of economic independence and hence the center of political independence.

   Other jurisdictions have the police going through restaurants demanding confirmation of the passports or levying huge fines. I suspect this will happen in BC also so it’s not worth the risk to the individual pocketbook to try and eat out anyway — instead take the $100-200 that you might spend and buy the best food available and have a feast at home. Local restaurant industry will wither and die on the vine — just like the travel industry etc etc etc

     frankly , 50 bucks for 2 to eat breaky out is pushing the pocket book.
