Silver Miners
Always interested in what other people are watching. Looking for new ideas in the 200-800 mil mkt cap range:
I own AXU, GLGDF, USAS,
I’m watching: GATO, GLGDF, NUPMF, DSVMF
Anybody else got a favorite junior silver miner?

I don’t know if it’s a Silver Miner or a Fish but I like Fortuna 🙂
I like Fortuna as well, Fully. Made some good money playing calls on that one.
Also like AUNFF (about to take off when they announce some good news early in the year) and AAGFF, which has been a tiger and still a long ways to go.
Kootenay Silver KOOYF is capable of delivering some upside excitement.
Change that KOOFY to Klondike Silver – my bad, sorry.
I wish I had time to do some research into DSVMF. I own a lot of shares of this mineral exploration company that seems to be sitting on a bunch of silver. Have you done due diligence? I haven’t, but it’s been good to me so far. Chart wise it seems ready to do something exciting, I guess. I’m the resident idiot who paints pictures for a living, but it takes most of my time. I’m hoping one of of these miners enables me to retire one day. Yes, I’m and idiot.
+1 haha! I’ve looked over the DSVMF presentation and listened to Sprott a couple times. I would need someone to walk me through the economics of mining such low grade silver. DSVMF is mining low double digit g/t silver. I understand it’s cheaper to go open pit, but what is the margin when you are pulling out only 1-3oz/ton? Compare that to MAG or even GATO at 640 g/t equivalent. That’s one reason I haven’t jumped on Discovery. I guess everything is economical when the underlying sky rockets tho.
Thanks Hermit. I guess I shouldn’t be too excited about it. I didn’t know most of it was not open pit. Have you done any study into RIO2 Limited? RIOFF. It’s Otto’s favorite right now.
I believe DSVMF is open pit, I just don’t know how that compensates for the really low grades. We need plunger to weigh in on this!
Thanks for Rio2. Will check it out!
I use to own Fortuna, but traded out of it. The LOMs started to concern me. If I remember correctly, they are operating on 5-7 year LOM. Looking for something with enough reserves in the ground to ride out a huge move in silver over the next 10 years…
What about Impact Silver?
Also, although larger miners, I like EXK and AG and yes I own them.
Chart looks great on Impact! Coiling up for a move IMO…
