   Isn’t it still pretty much the same as it has been? Incomplete (ie of questionable value) bull flag vs complex (ie of supremely debatable value) head-and-shoulders formation?

   (Isn’t that the standard textbook book TA way of looking at things? I personally tend to look for trends more than patterns. Given just this chart I’d see an prevalent upwards trend from around Sept, 2018, with a weaker short-term down-trend since July and questionable pronounced little recent uptrends recently that could easily temporarily get reversed.)

   I don’t follow TSI, but with some things — esp moving averages — I have a strong impression — which I have not rigorously proven to myself — that when two lines are more or less superimposed heading upwards, as is the case here, it is a good sign, often preceding a nice upwards bounce. So I’d guess a good sign that we see it with the TSI here, but I am just wildly guessing.

     and when I commented that it might be seen as a complex H+S pattern I should have added an *incomplete* H+S pattern — thus of particularly questionable value.

       Agree

       Rambus calls them Dualing Patterns.

       But MOST Patterns ( say 70% or more) are “continuation ” patterns as opposed to “reversal patterns”

       So “today” I am optimistic

       One good day where HUI out distances Gold and we will have a breakout
