     This is a Chartology Pattern

     Semantics BUT we don’t call them waves

     We call them Reversal Points

     Each Reversal Point is complete when it hits the next line and reverses

     Reversal points 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 are completed… 5 is still projected ..until it hits the bottom line

     Then we look for a bounce at 6 and a potential reversal 7 at the top line or a breakout

   Like the big picture. As long as gold remains above 1300-1310 level I think we are good.

     Chatter is Yellen should help gold prices tomorrow; usually just the opposite. Do not have any details, so I do not know how this “chatter” has any substance? Dadoc, have you heard anything?

       I don’t have that kind of inside info unfortunately. I will say the the gold stocks are the most oversold since January. Hence I removed half my hedge going into tomorrow’s meeting.

       Also this is options expiration for GOLD on the COMEX and it usually declines into it then pops afterward…

       we will see.

       Happy if we consolidate here for a while.

         My observation over the past few years re: FED statements (and other central bank statements) is that the mouthpieces are typically dovish in advance of hawkish statements and vica versa in order to dampen currency volatility. For instance, when the BOJ decided not to ease last month, there were all sorts of ‘leaked’ statements indicating that easing was imminent, weakening the YEN in advance of market dissapointment from BOJ inaction and subsequent YEN strength. The hawkish tone from FOMC members over the past two weeks leads me to believe the statement will be more dovish than expected. It all seems to be a tape-painting exercise IMO.

   I cant believe you’re even asking the question “Bull or Bear”? Not so long ago I saw post that you were 100% certain we were in the early stages of a multi-year bull market in gold and the miners. Remember…you are supposed to sit, play golf, get filthy rich. Just follow those rules and you have nothing to worry about.

     Yesterday I gave you a nice shout out for closing your trades at a profit…but you continue to want to challenge every thing I say…therefore I believe you are a combative idiot ! This kind of attack mode doesn’t belong here

     You would be the only one to look at that chart and think It was a “real” question

     Let me spell it out for you man…The chart is so obviously bullish that I was making a point to sit tight

     I also posted a chart showing we were in a probably early stage consolidation…which means the holding is OK

     If you chose not to trade in and out and try to time all the swings.

     PS…did I mention I think you are an idiot ?

     Also is it not possible that someone who was bullish yesterday could change and become bearish today ?

     That is not the case here but by your tone you do not allow for that possibility
