Deep rift inside Iran’s regime over U.S. negotiations! – Iran Watcher
- IRGC chief Ahmad Vahidi is moving to limit the roles of Ghalibaf and Araghchi
- He is pushing to insert Zolghadr into the delegation, facing internal resistance
- IRGC figures are drawing red lines, refusing any talks on Iran’s missile program
The IRGC is openly opposing negotiations over Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities, insisting Lebanon be included in any ceasefire deal and framing any compromise as capitulation.
That divide is now spilling onto the streets, where regime supporters are calling out Ghalibaf for treachery.
The rift is why public announcements have so little real meaning.
Who all agrees and who doesn’t? It matters.
AND .. this is why an Internal Revolt is likely necessary.
And if its against the IRGC, that will be damn bloody. And prolonged.
