A little context. ‘solvent traps’ are basically a poor gun owner’s silencer or one who doesn’t wish to play by the mandatory tax stamp rules. Basically you can’t ‘own’ a silencer, just rent one by paying the gov’t a tax – similar to the way you ‘own’ your house or your car.
