The themes comprise the technical setups of both metals that I first described on Jan.13th in “Resistance Is Futile”. I described that the charts show no real resistance above for both metals in moving towards their late October highs.(Theme 1)

I also wrote there would be a good deal of volatility that should treat every dip as a buying opportunity.(Theme 2) Following the last such dip on Friday, the metals are once again reaching higher and are likely, one final step away from reaching those old highs.

It would not be surprising if we get one more dip, probably tomorrow. However, I don’t believe it will be very deep, nor likely to last very long. In fact, there is a good possibility that it leads into a slingshot move, with the metals having a sharp reversal to the upside with gold reaching $2800 and silver breaking towards it’s $35 target, a day or two later.(Theme 3)
Resistance Is Futile, new highs are on the horizon.
