   Great article. It deals with reality, not the ridiculous fantasy peddled to us by our fully purchased political and media class. Hopefully, in future years the west will be thankful for the steady hand that guides Russia through this insane period of the worlds history.

     One thing I’d like to note is that we are in a time of immense possibilities for the human race. Technology, education and fair trade are spreading throughout the world. The blossoming of wide spread human potential is at hand. The benefits that will accrue from that blossoming, to all the people of the world who wish to have them, are within our grasp. We need not even arrive at this sweet spot by good heartedness. We need only to open our eyes to see that military conflict has become, for this period at least, the worst of all possible options. The powers of the world can not defeat each other; they can harm each other, or help each other. That is the only true choice. It is long since time for the west to show that we are not quite as foolish as we seem to be. We can’t fix our problems until we get our collective mind straight. The world is moving on.
