“Iranian banks no longer need to use SWIFT… with Russian banks.”
A top Iranian official announced this week that Iran and Russia had integrated their interbank communication and transfer systems to help enhance trade and financial operations in an effort to bypass strict economic sanctions on their financial infrastructure.
With the signing of the agreement, 52 Iranian and 106 Russian banks are connected through the Russian Financial Message Transfer System, which will facilitate economic relations between the two countries, said Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Mohsen Karimi.

Does anyone find it odd that western leaders are doing nothing to engage with this growing economic block? Is it acceptable that we exclude ourselves from pursuing the mutual economic and social benefits that accrue from relations with other countries? What the hell is wrong with us?
They still believe that they can force the BRICS to play the Western game for survival. The question is will they use nukes to enforce rule over the world. The game is not going well for them so far!

Exactly, I don’t think they are in denial any longer.(They may have been for a past number of years) They know it is inevitable that the dollar is losing it’s sole reserve currency status and now it is just slow walking the decline but the speed in which the alternative gains share will be surprising.
