   I don’t see how anybody can argue with that chart. It’s simple – stocks are expensive and commodities are cheap. If buy low, sell high is the aim, everybody should be selling stocks and buying commodities. They won’t because they don’t see it. That’s good. It’s good because it proves we are at the very start of a commodity bull, not the end of one.

     Careful. Ratio charts prove nothing.
     If we are in the mother of all bubbles, both could drop from here but where stocks fall faster.
     That said, the pair trade should work fine, either way.

   Yes all good points and I suppose as Pedro commented, the only risk is that they all fall, but then Stocks may fall quicker and further than commodities. If that occurs then gold may have its day in the sun.

     Wouldn’t that be called deflation where gold falls less fast than everything else, dollar goes up?
