Yesterday, the New York Times dramatically reported, \u201cFrance in Shock After Protests Devolve Into Riots.\u201d The subheadline added, \u201cCentrist and leftist leaders blamed each other after anti-government protests devolved into chaos.\u201d Is this just typical French protest season stuff \u2014essentially a national pastime there\u2014 or something more?
