My cycling buddy (a Dem from LA) and I were stopped at a light while riding our bikes. A perfectly normal 40 something male was walking across the crosswalk in front of us. Suddenly he turned towards me and out of the blue told us not to trust the AI narrative. Here is what he said.<\/p>\n
“It’s all lies:
\nThe War on Drugs, 911, The War on Terror, the GFC, Covid, Surveillance which is what AI is all about. It’s all about control and profits!”<\/p>\n
It caught me by surprise and all I could think of to say was, “I didn’t take that shit!” To which he replied, “You are a thinker!” As suddenly as he had started his diatribe, he stopped talking and looked ahead and continued down the side walk as if nothing had happened. My Lefty friend, I know you ask why I associate with him, asked what was that all about? It was the most bizarre interaction I’ve had in ages. If it wasn’t witnessed by my friend I would not have believed it had happened.<\/p>\n
After our 3 hour ride I got home, opened up my laptop and found this substack open. I have no idea how or who sent it to me. It is along the same lines as what I had just experienced.<\/p>\n
