A Thursday filing also disclosed that floodwater had overwhelmed a pump at the plant.<\/p>\n<p>Located about 40 miles southwest of Chicago, Joliet can produce about 11 million gallons of gasoline and diesel daily, primarily for Midwest consumers. Its processing capacity represents roughly 6% of Midwest refining capacity and 1.5% nationally.
