US helping to defend the Yen, carry trade is imploding, US Treasury market will issue 10 trillion in debt this year, ST interest rates are not going up.\u00a0 Fed can’t raise, US is broke, just like Japan.\u00a0 Warsh and Bressent can talk tough about rates, but that’s all they can do….the Greenspan jawbone.\u00a0 Even if they raised rates, the market would melt down so fast, they would cut at the following meeting.\u00a0 The Fed is not here to manage inflation anymore, watch what they do, not what they say.\u00a0 They are here to keep order, to keep the inmates happy in their cells so they don’t riot….<\/p>\n
