That\u2019s plenty of time to \u201chide a body\u201d in the accounting world.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/quoththeraven.substack.com\/p\/six-months-is-plenty-of-time-to-hide\" rel=\"ugc nofollow\">The Wall Street Journal<\/a>, the SEC is expected to proceed with a version of its proposal allowing public companies to report comprehensive financial results twice a year rather than quarterly,\u00a0<strong>even after receiving more than 200,000 public comments, most of them opposing the change<\/strong>.
