Next up on the Epstein list, on Tuesday, the Hill reported, \u201cMace asks CIA director for documents agency may have on Epstein, Maxwell.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cClassified or not, we want to see it,\u201d the Congresswoman wrote in a 2-page letter addressed to CIA Director Ratcliffe. \u201cThe American people deserve answers about whether our intelligence agencies had connections to a child sex trafficker.\u201d<\/p>\n
The unsurprisingly convoluted story began with a FOIA letter. Epstein\u2019s own lawyers contacted the CIA in 2011, asking the Agency to confirm the relationship. At the time, various civil litigants were chasing Epstein around in court, encouraged by his 2009 guilty plea. Presumably, Epstein wanted to defend against the lawsuits by claiming he was working for the CIA. Sort of like 007 James Bond, except less tuxedos and martinis and more skeevy-demonic tracksuits and kitten blood cocktails.<\/p>\n
Anyway, the last thing the CIA planned to do was get involved in Jeffrey\u2019s sordid pedo litigation, and curtly responded that there were no such documents. But more recently, when the DOJ sought Epstein records from the CIA, the Agency said it could neither \u201cconfirm nor deny\u201d any relationship between Epstein and the CIA, citing FOIA exemptions for classified information. So which is it?<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know if the Agency realizes this yet or not, but nobody believes it never turned its jaundiced Sauron Eyeball toward Little St. James.<\/p>\n
In this week\u2019s letter (immediately posted to X), Congresswoman Mace cited obvious public information and the Epstein files suggesting there was a relationship, like Epstein\u2019s three calendared meetings with Bill Burns, who later became Biden\u2019s CIA Director. Mace also pointed out comments from various Epstein emails referencing \u201cintelligence\u201d and a \u201ccia drop.\u201d She might as well have said, c\u2019mon guys, we all know.<\/p>\n
If you consider Epstein\u2019s connections to just Britain\u2019s and Norway\u2019s royal families, it was the CIA\u2019s job to figure out what he was up to, and then tell the President. That is literally its charter. Epstein wasn\u2019t some unimportant rando. He\u2019s still destabilizing governments from his teats-up position in a coffin* (* allegedly), and the public probably knows less than 10% of whatever he was up to.<\/p>\n
