Old Doc Meklinger was the Prof. He was a piece of work….German accent and all.<\/p>\n
But I distinctly remember him explaining that Viruses want to survive and if they kill their hosts on mass they die off as well….so they mutate to become more infective and less virulent…It’s called Evolution of the fittest for life ….sheesh<\/p>\n
