Colin Powell was a great public servant. His recognition and articulation about the terms in which military engagements should have a clear goal and specific endgame was a major contibution to US foreign policy. However, he was human and we all make mistakes. I don’t know if he was actually snowed by the intelligence community about Iraqi “weapons of mass destruction” or just went along to get along. If he did know he should have resigned. Never the less, his good outweighed any bad.
