It was in rough shape but I leafed thru it and this fell out<\/p>\n<p>How cool is that ?<\/p>\n<p>Roger Babson was quite the guy<\/p>\n<p>Fascinating Character<\/p>\n<p>Role in development of Andrews Pitchfork<\/p>\n<p>He learned to draw a nominal line through zigzagging market action on charts from George F. Swain, a Professor of Engineering when he worked with him and later taught this technique to Allan H. Andrews who further refined it into &#8220;Andrews Pitchfork&#8221; a now commonly used trendline indicator<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roger_Babson\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roger_Babson<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I Must say from his picture here he bears a striking resemblance to my Buddy Dave ( Rambus)  &#8230;who is also a fascinating character.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few years ago a lurker kindly sent me a book on the Great Depression.
