A couple of days ago Poster Tommy had a little altercation with Poster RTV in a discussion under one of Tommy’s Posts (SCO)<\/p>\n

The comment to RTV was abusive .EagleSeagle ( an Editor ) at this site commented to Tommy that his rude remarks were innapropriate. The post remained up and next day when Eagle went to check it to see if there was any fallout…he noticed that his own comment was completely altered…Still under his byline ..his comment now read in the discussion as follows:<\/p>\n

Now I read this and thought…geez that’s so unlike our Eagle…I wonder what made him upset with RTV who clearly was wanting to understand Tommys Chart<\/p>\n

Eagle later deleted this post as he was suspicious Tommy had altered his and RTVs comments .<\/p>\n

I didn’t believe this was possible because Authors cannot edit anybody’s posts except their own, while Editors can.<\/p>\n

Fast Forward to another Post made by Tommy yesterday (GDX) …I wanted to see if Tommy would perhaps repeat this behavior . So I called him out on his post and told him it was bunk. (I actually think it was nonsense but that’s beside the point.)<\/p>\n

The thread went on all day today with several other posters chiming in that I was too harsh with poor Tommy and my “attack” on his work was unwarranted.<\/p>\n

Anyhow finally tonight I posted a comment to Argentaurus on that thread regarding Tommys attitude:<\/p>\n

Karl asks him to please clarify his posts. Tommy responds with ridicule of Karl\u2019s posting style.<\/p>\n

I agree with Karl . These charts are difficult to read the indicators are not named nor explained and the message is always past tense.<\/p>\n

He never makes a bad trade ..in hindsight.<\/p>\n

Kindergarden Report Card..\u201d Does not play well with others.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comment was promptly changed ( under my byline still) to read:<\/p>\n

“Tommy is a good poster and I am an idiot.”<\/p>\n

So that’s the Story of Tommy.<\/p>\n

He is now an ex poster…I am sure some of you will miss his charts . Unfortunately messing with other peoples comments like this is a capitol offense. And whats worse is it took all day to figure out how he as an author was able to do it.<\/p>\n
