There aren’t THAT many people out there paying THIS level of attention, capable of deconstructing the psyop so quickly to (perhaps) quell the regulatory push.
My thoughts on this, as with environmental risks, is to require companies “toying” with AI like this to be insured adequately against risks, and pay for carrying that insurance via an arms length contract from a private provider (not State sponsored). But I’m not sure at all how that works in a transnational setting, where some will look to dodge that cost.
