President Xi Jinping summarizes it perfectly when he states that he and President Trump have reached a mutual agreement for a “STRATEGIC STABILITY”.

“Trump is working on a completely new global structure, where the protection of the hemispheres is divided between the three superpowers US – Russia – China.”
It WILL be fascinating (and possibly brutal) to witness what/how/when the US shifts policy to protect it’s own hemisphere by removing the already DEEPLY imbedded Chinese influence from within Canada.
At the moment such discourse is mainly theoretical — simplistically a “you stay in your backyard and I’ll stay in mine” argument. Carve the world up into quadrants and stay out of each other’s business.
Until these same superpowers are faced with a situation like Canada which seems to be striving to become an existential threat to the US. Canada has already signed mutual policing agreements with China for within it’s borders so why wouldn’t they extend military co-operation to the “other” hemispheres (as further provocations to the US)
Extreme examples could be: Join the EU (Russian Hemisphere) OR invite China expansion within Canada to include militarily co-operation (Chinese Hemisphere). Such scenarios are not really that far fetched for a “democrat socialist (communist leaning)” government.
China has ALREADY invested much into the political and social structure of Canada and will want payback for it’s efforts. Not only are they heavily involved in the drug and money laundering cabal (documented extensively by The Bureau Substack) but they also exercise direct political and social influence over ex-pats via their own state operated “quasi-police” departments now operating in cities across Canada.
China won’t just walk away from MANY years worth of time & effort building up the infrastructure within Canada just to appease US AMERICAN “hemispheres” concerns.
Perhaps (speculation of course) they could orchestrate a quid-pro-quo whereby China walks away from control over Canada if US does the same with Taiwan.
While neither event will occur anytime soon, both would provide “strategic stability” for their designated hemispheres.
