: Vladimir Putin promises immediate ceasefire if Kiev gives up four regions and abandons NATO membership. Vladimir Putin has set conditions for an immediate end to the fighting. He is demanding the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the entire Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions and an official renunciation of NATO membership. Once Kiev agrees to these steps, Russia will declare a ceasefire “literally the same minute.”

Sounds EXACTLY like what Putin has been saying for years (with the exception of elimination of the NAZI regime inside Ukraine). If he has conceded that the NAZI’s can continue than this will come back to haunt Russia at some future point in time.
He will also suffer politically for offering ANY consessions from his “multi-time prestated conditions to end the war” — Russian citizens know that they are winning decisively and will consider concessions as weakness when they could take all of Ukraine and never have to fight this issue again.
After the NATO lies about not moving east, and the Minsk Agreements lies, why would Putin trust Ukraine or NATO to keep any agreement?
I would ask for the dissolution of the NATO (Nazi Atlantic Treaty Organization). In these times, wars can be won economically.
Europe was doing fine with cheap Russian energy and selling goods back to them. A win-win situation in normal times.
With the diaspora of young Ukrainian Males and those lying dead on the battlefield, the Russians may not worry about Ukraine raising an army for another generation. Ukraine would have to draw from their female population to mount another war.
Note: the one being reasonable is the one winning the war – Putin. Everyone else is acting childishly
