You can’t make this stuff up.  As David Jensen points out below,  the irony, hypocrisy, whatever the correct description, it’s rich for the criminals at LBMA to talk about counterfeit metals, especially when they are almost out of physical metal and likely to default soon.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 They are trying to scare people away from buying metals but the risk is legitimate.  Buying large bars is a high risk proposition and not worth the convenience of not havinge large quantities of smaller pieces of metal.                                                                                                         https://jensendavid.substack.com/p/the-lbma-warns-us-about-counterfeit
