Right-wing Threat? In Germany, 99% of Serious Terrorism Involves Foreigners/Islamists
Meanwhile, the German powers that be are still talking about banning the anti-immigrationist party Alternative for Germany (AfD). This is a bit like having a population suffering a scurvy epidemic — and talking about banning citrus fruit.
Germany, a country of 84 million, likely has absorbed 10 to 12 million (im)migrants in total since January 1, 2015. (There surely has been some out-migration as well, do note.) This includes asylum seekers, labor migrants, European Union citizens, and others. And to the point here, two to three million of these newcomers have been Muslim. Germany is about the size of Montana.
This small nation has had 84 investigations involving Islamist terrorism. And “60 cases involved foreign-related extremism,” the site also writes. “In stark contrast, only two cases were initiated for right-wing extremism in the same period.” This is just since January 1 of this year.
