….Public schools sit their teachers down and lecture them on their racism on a regular basis.
An old friend I’ve known for 30 years is out visiting from Ontario with his new girlfriend. She is close to retirement from one of the GTA school boards. Not woke. What she related was horrifying.
She was teaching a Kindergarten class when a large Black kid took a folding chair to a white kid. School policy: stand aside until the conclusion then call 911.
WTH!
The school policy is a white teacher can not touch a Black kid even to defend yourself.
The Covid lockdowns completely decimated the Black population as they had 2 lost years and are so far behind that they are just pushed through. Many can’t read or do simple math and when this is pointed out to the Black parents, they blame racism.
Its the past 10 years. Most classrooms are filled with everyone but White kids.
How will these students fare in the workplace when they graduate from High School? Forget about College or the Trades for them.
Just like the switch in Politics, the Third World and Developed World are flipping.

My Daughter teaches grade 6 public school
She IS Woke
20 years ago I sent her to Queens university as a responsible rational thinking young lady and she came out a leftard of the highest order.
I asked for a refund but…nope
One day she called me and said she was on paid leave
I asked what did she do …fail to use the proper pronouns ? No >.Dad i always use the proper pronouns and I am the lead teacher in our transgender meetings . we don’t tell parents about it but it’s sanctioned by the board…
Anyhow what happened is she was having difficulty with 2 girls disrupting the class . They sat beside each other and were constantly talking about non class related things during lessons
So My daughter moved one of them to a different desk .
Soon after the principle came to her and told her she was being investigated by a tribunal for ‘Human Rights Violation”…for real !
The Parents complained and she had to be “investigated”
The upshot was she was put on paid leave for the last 2 months of the school year and then forced to move to another school next fall
How did they replace her / A Teacher from that school who suffered the same fate was transferred to take her place…for real
Soon after she heard that principle of her original school suffered the same fate
never ever discipline a student…they have “Rights ”

I don’t know how old you are or where you went to school but I’m 73 and if you even so much as gave any teacher lip they would put you in detention for at least a week. Did it again you were suspended again expelled. Maybe our generation is to blame for this shit but I didn’t raise my kids to think they could question their teachers or fight in school.
Gawd. And these kids are the ones who will be flying our planes, building our roads, working in care homes……
What a disaster
And yes, Trader, I agree. If you did something in school you were disciplined, and if you came home and complained to your parents about it you were told “serves you right. Next time behave yourself”. End of discussion.
I guess we will have to send our children to Amish schools but extend the age past 14.
Discipline+ at those schools. Teacher has the final word then one’s parent gives the misbehaving child the second dose of punishment when they arrive home carrying the note explaining what they did that day.
Fully imagine treating children in the Dental office all day. Insanity would set in quickly.

The kids are incredibly polite and well behaved and easy to treat
