The only conceivable reason so many people spaz tf out at the slightest hint of any report that Trump is maybe possibly thinking about potentially contemplating the idea that perhaps he’ll do Something Bad™? is because they WANT him to do Something Bad™? because then they have the opportunity to be the first to say “I TOLD YOU SO, WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE, THERE WAS NEVER ANY HOPE FOR US.” That’s a much safer and psychologically easier position to occupy, ESPECIALLY if one is weak-willed (as are the majority of people).

If you hope good things will happen and then Something Bad™? happens, it’s embarrassing and disappointing. They don’t want to feel embarrassed or disappointed, so instead they publicly shit their pants.
