The president of the United States just threatened to end all trade with China if the Chinese do not stop buying oil from Iran. I realize that this sounds like something that Hollywood would dream up, but this isn’t a plot from an episode of your favorite television show. This is really happening. President Trump has decided to raise the level of economic pressure on Iran to the maximum in a last ditch effort to force the Iranians to make a deal to end their nuclear program. The oil industry is the central pillar of the Iranian economy, and President Trump wants to make it impossible for them to export any oil at all. So he is threatening to completely cut off all trade with any nation that purchases any amount of Iranian oil.

This irrational move for Israel’s benefit, will cost Americans, and many other countries, dearly!
But, then again, Trump keeps changing his mind, some say he’s playing 4D chess.
This is one crazy world! And us Canadians just got Carney!
China buys the lion’s share of Iranian oil, but it’s only a small part of its oil purchases. Why would China allow itself to be bullied by Trump? As well, American Intelligence agencies agreed in 2003 that Iran had ended its nuclear weapons program. If they’ve changed their outlook they haven’t mentioned it. Does Trump have any proof that it has been re-started? Show the world! He’s not cutting off trade with China, and they know it. He’s playing a stupid, and transparent game, so far to little avail. Trump’s presidency is in grave trouble. He’s acting like a madman.
