Rubio offered Ukraine a ceasefire? They’re on the same side! Once again we are seeing diplomatic foolishness. I suppose the Russians could play the same game and accept the proposal subject to the U.S. and Ukraine completing all of Russia’s previous demands. So nothing has changed, with one exception. The U.S. is back in the war, giving arms and intelligence to Russia’s enemy.
Does Rubio think that the Russians are stupid?
They have already suffered through the Minsk “Agreements”, only to be later told that it was intended just to allow Ukraine to arm itself with US and EU weapons.
The Russians are winning, have momentum, and 30 days will just allow the Ukrainians to rearm, as the US has just agreed to resupply them with weapons and intelligence.
Can’t Trump see that this offer will not work? Who could be pressuring Trump into this stupid move??

I doubt that Putin will regard the resumption of arms and intelligence delivery as being conducive to real dialogue. More likely he will see it as typical American double dealing.
It’s just astounding. Trump has spent the last month trying to convince the Russians that things have changed, only to pull the rug out from under himself! He seems to think still that Russia is in bad shape. Who is advising him? In what world does the victor require a ceasefire while the vanquished threatens. This is happening because the U.S. has somehow convinced itself that they are not a party to this fight, that they are an impartial observer capable of taking the role of mediator. This is an American conflict, and everyone knows it. Well, everyone but Trump it seems.
Take Odessa for sure. Russia is kicking Ukraine’s ass why would they stop when any agreement will be violated by The West? The US needs to leave NATO. Europe is certainly stupid enough to cross a line Russia won’t stand for.
If successful it might be the first time in history that the vanquished are allowed to dictate terms to the victor!
Ukraine “should” support a ceasefire — they are being decimated on the battlefield — according to alt news “on-the-ground” sources – MSM prints the official NATO propaganda position which has proven unreliable & irrelevant.
It’s an interesting tactic — Russia seems to have been “holding back” awaiting US attempts at peace — lets see how Moscow responds to proposals that they have already indicated are unacceptable.
In the meantime, the death toll rises!
