The report said that no US personnel are on the ground in Russia but that the operations are being directed by the CIA. The US is using an ally’s intelligence services to add an extra layer of plausible deniability, and a former US special operations official told Murphy that layer was a major factor in President Biden signing off on the attacks.

There’s something about that line of reasoning that makes me wonder about the intelligence of the “former US special operations official”. Biden’s approval of anything means nothing since he is clearly out of his mind generally. Of course I guess what it really indicates is the approval of those who are really running things that they would present Biden with something to sign, since Biden is nothing more than a rubbery, rubber stamp.
