Elon Musk Explains Why He Bought Twitter
LIKE OR CANT STAND HIM OR JUST CAN’T UNDERSTAND HIM….I SAY WE GIVE HIM A CHANCE…THIS LOOKS VERY REFRESHING
The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence,” Musk wrote. “There is currently great danger that social media will splinter into far right wing and far left wing echo chambers that generate more hate and divide our society.”
He also lamented that “traditional media” has “fueled and catered” content to polarized extremes while sacrificing dialogue for the sake of making money.

One of the great conmen of our time. He works hand in glove with governments in all areas of his business. Social media had become broadly understood as controlled media, contrived memes and complete censorship. My bet is that Elon was brought in to put a new coat of paint on the old Tesla. Under the hood, the same wiring will bring power to the same people for the same reason. TPTB aren’t going to let Musk take away their control of the public square just because he has a fat wallet. They are the reason he has a fat wallet.
He’s clearly a dreamer.
Whether the walk matches the talk or not, we’ll have to wait and see.
There’s really no balance in the social media space at the moment, so a shift is badly needed.
Seems like all his businesses draw on the public purse for their revenues so caution is justified. Sundance has said Musk would expose heavy financing of twit from the intelligence services. Otherwise, there’s no way it covers its costs. Lets see how much sunlight we get on it.
I don’t trust him but he’s still a man like any other and sometimes people change sides abruptly and you just have to judge their sincerity by what they actual do from here on in. When we see him suffer at the hands of the enemy, like Maxime Bernier being handcuffed by the police in Manitoba, then we’ll know he’s one of us.
I think we’ve all seen too many of those double-agent spy movies. We don’t even trust ourselves anymore.
