It is way past time for Congress to stop throwing money down a rat hole. I know that is what Congress always does, but enough already. It is time for both Republicans and those few Democrats who aren’t progressive morons to say stop! Stop wasting money on anything and everything related to Covid. How many billions have been wasted on respirators, vaccines that kill but do nothing to stop covid, masks, testing that accomplishes nothing? And stop wasting money on weapons to Ukraine for a war we and the Europeans instigated and is just killing people and wrecking economies. Enough of the insanity. Don’t pass a government funding bill if it includes money for either of these two stupid wasteful causes. Shut down this lousy excuse for a government, if that is what it takes to end the madness.

I deeply respect you and your posts. Chart reading, TA and market calls may go right or wrong. Yes, we all need more money to survive the coming stormy, willfully, intentionally, created inflationary years.
But the points in your rant/post elicited this reply from this “young” learner.
I’m living in one of the worst heat waves Northern California has ever seen in the last two or three decades.
And at least 40% of people who can afford a good (or luxury) car have electric cars e.g. Tesla.
The power grid is on the verge of breaking down.
But the state and the federal government chose to spend money on subsidizing electric cars, while not investing in making the power grid bigger or resilient.

Any day the “government” is shut down is a good day. As long as congress is out of session they can do no more harm. They should only be allowed to meet two weeks a year with the weekend in-between off.
EVERYTHING the government touches turns to shit.
Sometimes I wonder if there aren’t evil forces working behind the scenes to try and make sure the North America countries go broke the same time the rest of the world goes broke so we can all have one big global reset at the same time. This would explain the massive amounts of money wasted on so many needless things.
