In response to pedro’s post below regarding the Canadian Banking System and as a follow up to my post yesterday…I went to my other bank today and stood in another long line and watched as PILES of cash were withdrawn from each of 4 teller stations .

Just got back from raising a little cash as the lingo goes in the trading biz 🙂
Went to the ATM in my bank this time…asked for 3 k …the limit…machine said choose a smaller amount..2 k ?….machine said…1 K limit…OK…1 K
Then I and I swear this …the machine grunted and groaned and whirred and spazzed and No money came out…i swear I saw smoke…It also kept my card…so I went to the teller and she came out and released the card and she said..looks like we’re out of money . I asked if she had any inside
She did and I took some thanks. I asked if there were a lot of withdrawal today and she nodded an exhausted nod..I said loud enough for everyone to hear…I think the Prim Minister made a little mistake….The manager who was sitting behind the tellers looked at me and shook her head affermative and then side to side.
