Unless the entire Liberal party has been co-opted by the globalists, and therefore the entire government, this will not happen. It’s too stupid, and unless they never plan to go to an election again, will cause them irreparable harm. At this stage, I would bet that Trudeau is being told by the party to de-escalate or he will be removed unceremoniously. He is finished.
Russian troops have been in Ukraine forever. They own the parts of the country that are Russian, just as they owned Crimea. They don’t give a damn about the rest of that corrupt country, except that they won’t allow western missile sites to be constructed there. This is all about American adventurism. They want to start a war to deflect attention from the catastrophic failures arising from their policies of the past few decades. They don’t intend to win this war; they can’t. A prolonged skirmish that elicits patriotic support from their voters, excuses them from calamities caused by their ineptitude and drains Russian resources is their goal. They should concern themselves with the illusory woke agenda as they are incompetent in the real world. Putin, on the other hand, is very competent in that sphere.
