I was really upset by the ‘door-to-door’ statement from the government posted by Pedro. Several thoughts arise from it.

Firstly I wondered if the organisational competence and the data exist to carry out such a huge operation. It may be wishful thinking on my part but I genuinely doubt this would be possible in most places.

Also it is likely another deliberate strategy from the governments ‘nudge’ department and Sage to scare people into getting the vaccine. For most of us, the govt coming to your door with needles is terrifying!

And yes, sporting events are a good indicator. I couldn’t find it again, but some footage was doing the rounds of Scottish football fans chanting ‘you can shove your F..ing booster up your arse’.

And at a darts tournament the crowd started chanting ‘Stand up if you hate Boris’…..

All very encouraging!

I am glad also that Excalibur seems to see what I see. One is never sure of ones perceptions so its good that he agrees.

And I sympathise with TimH. The enormity of this whole thing often leads me to question whether a vast spiritual event of some description may be woven into things.
