Time to start innovating local use alternative currencies for use in barter regimes?
Maybe blockchain based, or whatever might deter counterfeiting?
Once the CBDC is in place we can use the old Fiat currency among our peers. Only good for our transactions. No need to re-invent what they are abandoning.
There would need to be a good reservoir of the old cash though.
