I went to the website for Vancouver farmers markets and now there is a statement to the effect of “please don’t bring your dogs to the market because they can’t social distance and we don’t know the relationship between dogs and Covid”

GMG, I have an amigo looking into small charter plane from Abbotsford into USA and then to sunny Mexico. They flew into Bellingham and walked across to get home in the spring and missed the covid hotel crap. I have been hearing stories of it being done so will keep you posted. Convert your attention to leaving Canada for a while a let the stress go or it will consume you. Search their bus systems, while our country crumbles they keep going. Cheap,safe, comfortable to travel anywhere hassle free. Take bus, the taxi or uber and go explore girl.

There are places in Mexico that are safe, comfortable, and full of expats – U.S. and Canada. Living is cheap, people are great, as is the climate.
Too bad New Zealand makes immigration so expensive and difficult. Best place I’ve been – not enough population to cause any problems. Scenery that won’t quit. Fantastic climate. 2,000 glaciers, BTW

As much as I’m not a hot weather aficionado, this country in which I had the misfortune to be born is going to hell in a handbasket and I may well need a fast escape. Thx for keeping me posted. Heck, right now I’d be happy to arrive in Bellingham on foot and just stay there. Am truly missing the great food shopping at Trader Joe’s and Bellingham Co-op.
