OPHR.V – Huge potential and very compelling gold exploration stock.
They are just starting to drill the Breccia Gold Zone at their Idaho property. As with all explorers there is risk but I feel the big edge getting in at these prices is that there is really good historic data from the 1980´s which gives a lot of clues to the potential. Think of a strike of gold mineralization 1.8km long, up to 20 m wide and 150m deep (could potentially be 600m deep which is the potential of low sulphidation epithermal gold deposits). The mineralization starts at surface and there are multiple mineralization events evidenced by the lower grade breccia 4-5 g/t Au and high grade veins running throughout the system. It´s currently below $10m mc. I´m dreaming big with this one and very biased . Have a good summer!

Marty — the presentation/Sedar will have site details but why did YOU pick Ophir? What do you know about the mgmt team – ethics – morals – shareholder attitudes. Have they had exploration success as a team or is this their entry into the junionr market world? How well connected are they in the industry? Thanks K2
All good questions. I know a geologist who likes this property very much and invested in the first financings. He has a good track record for picking companies that get exploration success and he is always closely looking at the details, so for him to be so bullish on this really caught my attention. Management are very connected with Queens Road Capital as an example. Honestly, a lot of insight can be gained from the video or readable presentation. One thing that is so interesting to me is that the 1987 bulk sample taken from the breccia zone yielded about 1548 oz Au from a bulldozer cut 60m long, 3 metres deep and 6m wide which tapered down to 3m wide at the bottom. That´s $3,000,000 gold value in just that bulldozer cut. They are talking about 2km strike, potential for 600m depth (Only 150m depth confirmed so far with 1985 drill hole) etc. It´s a tiny mc.. Anyway I am certainly pounding the table on this one at this price. All the best and ofcourse do your own due dilligence. The video presentation is really informative imo
Hi Marty — thanks for bringing this one to our attention. I reviewed all PR’s on Sedar (very chronology) and will check out MD&A’s next. Do you know if the story referenced above (bulldozer) is included in the filed reports or was this something that your geologist friend was just aware of. Definately looks like ground floor but fairly sizeable chunk of $.15 warrants. As always this will not be POG driven but rather drill bit is everything. Picked up a starter position. K2
very interesting chronology
The bulk sample was referenced on the presentation. There was also a historic resource estimate of 700,000 oz Au but that is non compliant with todays standards. Also 2 drill holes which encountered mineralization consistent with surface samples along the 1800m strike. 4-5 g/t Au The grade of the bulk sample was about 12 g/t Au Anyway have a great weekend and all the best for the drill program.
