   Sam posted an update last night, so I’ll share his take but without charts.

   I’ve been of the view that the move from last summer’s highs would be an ABC, with our ongoing triangle as B “up”. C down remaining.

   Sam also likes the triangle, but as the WHOLE pattern off the Aug highs. So instead of triangle starting from the Dec lows as I have it, he has it starting from the Aug highs. He has Dec as A down of the triangle. June 1299 high as B up (complex) and now in C down. (I had the triangle starting FROM the Dec lows and being an “up” triangle. He has it as a down triangle. Both options being viable given the sideways move.)

   Bottom line — we will continue to squirm SIDEWAYS for the rest of the summer, until Congress lifts the debt ceiling. That launches c of B to 1500+, ahead of GFC #2 that follows, per my analysis (and many others, by now).
